Bullying involves repeated offensive, intimidating, malicious, or insulting behaviors that intentionally degrade, humiliate, or isolate individuals or groups. It can manifest through physical, verbal, and digital means, including but not limited to:

 

  • Threatening or intimidating messages or game actions.
  • Malicious or derogatory comments about someone's character or abilities.
  • Deliberate exclusion from online group activities or discussions.
  • Cyberbullying tactics, such as spreading rumors, sharing private information without consent, or engaging in doxxing.


Harassment is unwanted conduct affecting the dignity of individuals or groups, creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment. It includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
  • Discriminatory remarks or actions based on age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Stalking or persistent following in-game or on social media.
  • Sharing or displaying offensive, sexually explicit, or violent material.


Reporting and Resolution


Individuals who believe they have been subjected to bullying or harassment are encouraged to report the behavior to Wizardia.io through our designated reporting channels, which include direct contact with community managers, a dedicated email address for concerns ([insert contact email]), or via the reporting tools available on our platforms.


We will treat all reports with seriousness, confidentiality, and urgency. Our response will involve:

 

  • Immediate review of the report and initiation of an investigation.
  • Appropriate actions to address the behavior, which may include warnings, temporary or permanent bans from our platforms, and in severe cases, referral to law enforcement.
  • Support for the victim, including resources for counseling or legal advice if needed.

Consequences of Violating Community Rules


Wizardia.io is committed to maintaining a respectful, welcoming, and safe environment for all community members, staff, and stakeholders. To uphold these values, we have established clear community rules that prohibit abuse, harmful behaviors, and the spread of fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD).


Violating these rules undermines the integrity of our community and will not be tolerated. The following are the consequences that individuals may face if they engage in such prohibited behaviors:

 

  1. Warning and Education: For first-time or minor offenses, the individual may receive a warning. We believe in the potential for people to learn from their mistakes. Alongside the warning, we may provide educational resources to help the individual understand the impact of their actions and encourage positive participation within the community.

  2. Temporary Restrictions: If the behavior persists after a warning or if the initial violation is of a more serious nature, the individual may be subject to temporary restrictions. This can include a temporary ban from participating in specific or all community platforms (Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), limited access to game features, or restricted ability to communicate with other community members. The duration of these restrictions will depend on the severity of the violation.

  3. Permanent Ban: For severe or repeated violations, the individual may be permanently banned from Wizardia.io’s platforms and community. This includes a permanent revocation of access to games, forums, and any other community channels. A permanent ban is the last resort and reflects a violation that is wholly incompatible with the values and safety of our community.

  4. Legal Action: In cases where the behavior constitutes a legal offense (such as threats of violence, doxxing, or other criminal acts), Wizardia.io reserves the right to take legal action against the individual. This may involve reporting the behavior to law enforcement and cooperating with any subsequent investigation.

  5. Restorative Actions: Depending on the situation and the willingness of all parties involved, we may facilitate restorative actions aimed at repairing the harm caused by the violation. This approach focuses on understanding, reconciliation, and making amends, which can be beneficial in rebuilding trust and community cohesion.
