Welcome to the latest game development updates from Wizardia, where we are thrilled to share our progress on leveling up your wizards! We will be focusing on the first step in our Q2 roadmap, which aims to make your wizards more powerful and unique.
There are also more exciting updates to come, including an in-game wizard card, new passive skills for each wizard that can significantly change the battlefield's situation, many new wizard characteristics acquired during leveling, as well as a variety of new features and improvements.
We are introducing a new leveling system that will allow you to upgrade your wizard up to level 5 using specific resources that drop after battles. Each upgrade will give your wizard a new characteristic or improve an existing one. At level 5, your wizard will receive a unique passive skill that works constantly in battle.
To make leveling up your wizard even more thrilling, we will be making significant improvements to the interface development, developing new passive skills, and introducing new features. We will also balance pumping, create new resources, and design new drop logic to make leveling up more intuitive and rewarding.
But leveling up your wizard will not be so easy - you will need resources that you can get after battles, as well as unique tasks for each wizard. Some resources will drop only on certain days, so you should not miss them. In the future, we will also add Wizard relics that can be equipped to increase the power of the Wizard. Relics can be upgraded, and we are planning to create an auction where you can put up for sale or buy resources and relics from other players.
In addition to leveling up your wizard, we are also implementing an Artifact Equip System. This system will include a rarity level for artifacts that will grant additional characteristics and bonuses to your wizard when equipped. The rarer the artifact, the more potent the bonuses it provides.
To make the Artifact Equip System even more engaging, we will be implementing a crafting system that will allow you to improve your artifacts. This system will give you more control over the artifact's characteristics and how they enhance your wizard's abilities.
With the new BattleLog feature, players will be able to review and analyze the details of their just completed battles. After a battle, a new button will appear on the screen, which will open a new tab when clicked. In this tab, players will have the opportunity to watch a replay of the battle in 2D, allowing them to carefully analyze each move made by themselves and their opponent. This feature will help players identify their mistakes, better understand how the game works, and ultimately improve their gameplay strategies for future battles.
Players will be able to view detailed information about wizards right in the battle. Just hover over the 2d icon of an enemy wizard (or an allied one), and you will get full information about its abilities (damage, mana cost, number of targets and purpose), as well as full information about which Consumable is equipped on this wizard and what it does.
We analyzed the statistics collected from your battles and made some edits to the wizards, weakening the overpowered ones and strengthening the underpowered ones. By doing this, we aimed to create a more balanced and fair gameplay experience. Additionally, based on your feedback, we have completely updated the list of presets for the modes where they are used. With these changes, players will enjoy a more enjoyable and rewarding gameplay experience, where the skills and abilities of each wizard are more evenly matched.
